San Francisco Bay Area
I am a web developer and a photo hobbyist. Photography paid my bills in the past, but now I just do it for fun. I was a professional photojournalist from 1985 to 1995, when I decided to go back to school to learn the commercial/advertisement photo trade. While in school I got involved with computers, digital imaging and the web. I moved to the Bay Area in 1999 during the peak of the internet boom. After freelancing as a photo assistant for one year, I got a job as a photo editor at a eCommerce startup. That did not last long. In June 2005 I completed 5 years at a software company, where I went from web producer, to managing the company's international web presence, to my current position as a web application engineer (ColdFusion and Actionscript).
I update this site with new photos as much as possible, averaging out 8 to 10 a month.
This site is powered by Pixelpost with a few addons. The list of links on the right is an addon I wrote that parses the RSS feed from my bookmarks at Photoblogs.org (beta site). The "most popular photos" area above is another addon written by James from ColorBlind Photography.
Please send me an email, if you have any questions or interest on purchasing any image you see in this site.
The list below is dynamically generated with the latest tracks I listened to on iTunes or through last.fm.
